Our Story
Noam Collective began in a season of prayer.
Before there was a journal, a collection, or even a clear picture of what Noam would become, our founder, Monick, was pursuing a completely different direction for her life while sensing that God was preparing something else.
What followed was an unexpected flood of ideas for a brand she had never planned to build. As she brought those ideas before Jesus in prayer, she received the name Noam in a vision.
At the time, she didn’t know what the word meant. But after discovering that Noam is a Hebrew word associated with beauty, pleasantness, and delight, the name began to reveal something much deeper about the heart of what was being created.
It pointed back to the longing expressed by David in Psalm 27:4 "One thing I ask from the Lord… that I may dwell in the house of the Lord… to gaze on the (NOAM) beauty of the Lord..."
That became the heart behind Noam. Not simply to create beautiful things, but to create intentional essentials that quietly point beyond themselves, inviting women to slow down, open God’s Word, draw near to Jesus, hear His voice, and cultivate a life of abiding in His presence.
From an idea to something you could hold
As the vision began taking shape, journaling naturally became part of it. For Monick, journaling had already been woven into her own walk with Jesus for years. It was a place for prayer, studying Scripture, recording what God was teaching her, documenting dreams and moments with Him, and returning to things she didn’t want to forget.
But our walks with God don’t always fit neatly into predetermined pages and sections. Different seasons bring different needs. Sometimes there is more to study. More to pray through. Something new God is teaching us. Pages fill, seasons change, and the way we spend time with Him grows with us.
That became part of the inspiration behind The Abide Journal, a refillable, modular journaling system that can change as the woman using it changes. Pages can be added, removed, and rearranged. Sections can be created and reorganized. What begins in one season doesn’t have to remain confined to it.
And every physical detail was approached with that same intentionality. From substantial dividers and smooth ivory pages to metal discs and beautifully textured covers, we wanted to create something worthy of being returned to again and again. Not an object meant simply to sit beautifully on a table, but something meant to be lived in.
This is Noam
Today, Noam Collective creates intentional essentials for women who desire a deeper life with God. We care deeply about beauty and craftsmanship, but neither is the destination. Because ultimately, Noam isn’t about journals. It isn’t about stationery. And it isn’t about building a beautiful brand for the sake of beauty. It’s about Jesus and our relationship with Him.
Our hope is that the things we create become companions to something far more important: mornings spent in Scripture, prayers poured onto pages, moments of hearing God’s voice, revelations you don’t want to forget, and a life increasingly rooted in His presence.
Noam began with an invitation that continues to shape everything we create:
To behold His beauty.
To draw near.
To hear His voice.
To abide in His Words.
To dwell in His presence.
